Bib numbers are for database requirements only and do not represent original data which was not recorded. 1987 – The second Karapoti was a similar distance, but started at Mackay’s Crossing on the Kapiti Coast and rode over the Maungakotukutuku Valley range, joining the current Karapoti Classic route at Big Ring Boulevard.
